Rock City Coffee (2nd Read) meeting to start @7:15
This just in from Tracey Resigno, who is involved in the Knox Home Heating Group, the Homeless Task Force, among other community groups-
Tracey Sez: "oh yes...Its time... to create another big event! are you ready to be involved in something extremely cool and exciting, an event that will spark our community as we give it the fuel it needs to create space for well needed change.
The meeting will be 1 hr, focused and on task about:
proposal for a weekend event in downtown Rockland. Live music, art, theatre, and film. The subject matter or theme is Teen Home-lessness , and they are out there, about 40 of em in our community, And Family Homeless, most who have lost their homes due to foreclosure, people like you and me.
If you feel motivated, even an inclining, to help get Teens get off the street, and raise awareness about this new acute family home-lessness issue, I invite you to get involved in this project. It is a way for you to take that feeling of I want to do something to help, and put it into action, in a coordinated, well run way. Show up, I promise it will spark your own life."--Tracey
