Tucked in, waiting for the blow.
September 4- Terry Pinto took this picture from the Pollution Control Facility. All the boats were hunkered into Lehrman's Cove, waiting out the hurrican that never really materialized. However, everyone had a plan in place. Our life safety departments were ready, and our harbor was ready. It's wonderful that we have this facility now for this use, as well as a great home for the schooners. Everyone did a great job getting ready, which is probably why the storm didn't come...! But thanks to all who are there to protect and serve us in times of disaster.
